Pension Funds and Insurance
We are particularly active in pension funds and the insurance industry through our annual Swiss Pensions Conferences (SPC). The SPC is the leading independent event for pensions’ decision makers in Switzerland and CFA Society Switzerland’s flagship event since 2012. SPC is conducted annually with two installments, covering the French speaking part in Lausanne (mostly in French) and the German speaking part in Rueschlikon (mostly in German).
Based in Lausanne and Zurich, two agenda teams composed of volunteer pension experts from highly recognized institutions, convene every year to approach the unique annual motto from two different angles, applying CFA Society Switzerland’s unique Peers 4 Peers approach. This affords more than 100 delegates who attend both conferences the opportunity to grasp the subtle differences in practice and approach between the two parts of the country.
SPCs are recognized by the Swiss Association of Actuaries, the Swiss Chamber of Pension Fund Experts and VSV | ASG as a qualified activity with 5 continuing education credits.
