Change of leadership at CFA Society Switzerland

28 Feb 2020

After seven years as CEO, Christian Dreyer, CFA, stepped down effective 29.2.2020. During his time as CEO, Chris successfully developed the Society on many fronts and introduced a number of valuable initiatives and activities promoting ethics, education and professional excellence in the Swiss financial community. We wish him all the best in his new endeavours.

The Board of CFA Society Switzerland has named Board member, Sheila Ohlund, CFA, as the interim CEO.

Sheila Ohlund is CEO of Attavita Financial Services. Sheila has over twenty years’ experience in investment research and portfolio management at international financial service firms, including American Express Global Asset Management, Rothschilds, and SBC Brinson/UBS. She started her career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Price Waterhouse. Sheila is a CFA charterholder and holds Master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the London School of Economics as well as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from Stanford University.

Sheila Ohlund and the team from CFA Society Switzerland are looking forward to continuing dialogue and partnership with the investment management community in Switzerland and to serving the Swiss financial ecosystem to enhance and promote professional and principled standards of behaviour.
