UBS CFA Indicator: Optimistic about 2026’s economic outlook
- The UBS CFA Society Switzerland Indicator came in at 6.2 points in December, six points lower than the previous month, but still ending the year in positive territory.
- Analysts’ long-term economic outlook has improved since September, with the point forecast for growth in five years at its highest level since end-2024.
- The survey points to continued Swiss franc strength: For the first time, none of the analysts surveyed expects the franc to depreciate—neither against the euro nor the US dollar.
