The MSc in Banking and Finance of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is now part of the CFA Institute’s University Affiliation Program . The Chartered Financial Analyst® is one of the most renowned educational programs in the investment sector at international level. The CFA affiliation acknowledges that the MSc in Banking and Finance covers a substantial part of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge . Moreover, the MSc in Banking and Finance incorporates the Code of Ethics and the Standards of Practice of CFA Institute. Future students of the MSc in Banking and Finance are thus ideally prepared for CFA examinations.
The participation in CFA Institute’s University Affiliation Program underlines both the theoretical and practical focus of the MSc in Banking and Finance programme. Through participation in the University Affiliation Program, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is eligible for a limited number of student scholarships for the CFA Program each year.
In Switzerland, only the Master’s programmes in Finance of the University of St. Gallen, the University of Neuchâtel, the University of Lausanne and the EPFL are part of the CFA University Affiliation Program. Worldwide, 637 universities participate in the CFA University Affiliation Program.
