Board Nominations 2026

 

 

The CFA Society Switzerland is seeking up to 2 new board members for the term starting in September 2026.

The Board is CFA Society Switzerland's highest elected body, representing its membership across the country.  It develops the Society's strategy and monitors its implementation through volunteer committees and the Executive Office. 

With over 3’600 members, the CFA Society Switzerland is the largest CFA society in Continental Europe. 

Board membership is limited to a 6-year term and is on a fully volunteer basis. The expected time commitment is at least 6-8 hours per month, including preparation for and participation in 4 in-person board meetings during working hours in Switzerland.

The role of the board is to govern our Executive Office and all board members are expected to contribute towards our strategic goals of developing future professionals, delivering member value, and building market integrity in Switzerland.

Your Profile:

  • You have at least 10 years of professional experience
  • You are either a financial professional with leadership experience or
  • .. you are an expert in the field of “Human Resources” or “Legal & Compliance”
  • A CFA Charter is not necessary, but academic excellence required
  • You are a team player and demonstrate interest to take on board roles such a Treasurer, Secretary or chair various board committees
  • Your previous or existing board roles are a plus

 

Our ambition is to have a diverse Board in terms of gender, regional representation, career experience and educational background to represent the interests of our growing membership base in Switzerland across German-, French- and Italian-speaking Switzerland.
