John Dwyer

John Dwyer is global blockchain research lead at Celent, the fintech research division of Oliver Wyman. His blockchain research covers the full taxonomy of digital assets, which includes cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens, and asset-backed tokens, including digital securities. Mr. Dwyer has been involved in bitcoin since 2013 and participated in the Ethereum initial coin offering. He provides thought leadership and advice regarding public and private blockchains at the board, C-suite, and strategy levels to financial institutions within capital markets and more broadly. Previously, Mr. Dwyer held senior positions in equity capital markets (ECM) in investment banking, including head of emerging markets ECM at Macquarie Capital, natural resources ECM at Macquarie Capital, and Middle East ECM at Goldman Sachs.
