UBS CFA Indicator: US tariff increase hits analysts’ sentiment

• The UBS CFA Society Switzerland Indicator fell by 56.2 points to -53.8 in August, following the imposition of sweeping tariffs on US imports from Switzerland.
• Financial analysts expect the SNB to keep its policy rate steady over the next 12 months, with risks tilted toward lower interest rates.
• Our survey indicates a shift out of US-dollar denominated assets among analysts, particularly bonds and cash.
