Infrastructure has become an important alternative asset class, especially for institutional investors, but increasingly also for wealthy individuals. Beside regulatory changes for pension funds increasing allocations to infrastructure are driven by real asset, high cash flow and inflation protection characteristics. In this educational event co-hosted by CAIA Association Zurich Chapter and CFA Society Switzerland, we will discuss with a high-profile expert panel about investment approaches, manager and single asset due diligence, investment structures for a variety of investors, the portfolio context for this asset class as well as the investment outlook including the impact of tightening monetary policy.
