We are very pleased to congratulate Dimitri Senik, CFA, who has been elected as the Chair of the ESG Verification Subcommittee of CFA Institute. This committee will, together with the ESG Technical Committee, be developing the ESG Investment Disclosure Standard.  The ESG Verification Subcommittee is composed of representatives of audit firms and will specifically be looking at developing guidance for assurance/attestation of compliance with the new ESG Standard.

Dimitri has already made significant contributions to the CFA Institute through his work on GIPS, including serving as chair of the GIPS Technical Committee since September 2018 and member and chair of the GIPS Interpretations Subcommittee since September 2016.  He was previously a member of the GIPS executive committee between 2010 and 2015.  

We also very much appreciate all of Dimtri's many contributions to the CFA Society Switzerland.  Currently Dimitri chairs our Advocacy subcommittee on ESG.  He more than ably volunteers as our local GIPS representative.  He has also just completed serving as our auditor.
